Chocolate Reichstag

If I ever write a guidebook on Berlin I would make Fassbender & Rausch the Number One Must-See destination.  Their chocolate is considered among connoisseurs as the best in Germany and the Germans know what they're talking about.  After all, they are second in the world when it comes to chocolate consumption.  Switzerland holds the top honor.  "It's what gets us through the winter," one local told me.
We bought a big bag of these delicious chocolates the first day of our visit here, and it lasted us the whole two weeks.  Upstairs is a restaurant that serves the best hot chocolate IN THE WORLD,  as well as daily "surprises".  It is a chocolate lover's dream come true.
Oh, right.  I guess I wouldn't have much credibility as a travel writer if I didn't list the Reichstag in my book.  It truly is a beautiful, monumental building, don't you think?  (Although I prefer the chocolate one.)  The glass dome was added in June 1993 and is a masterpiece of architecture.  It brings light into the otherwise dark and ponderous structure, and it brings a sensuous beauty to the entire Berlin skyline.   The public is invited to climb to the top and actually look down into the chambers.
You'll need some energy for the climb so don't forget the chocolate!
