Silk and Cloisonne

Mimi models the silk jacket and blouse I purchased in Shanghai.  Our U. S. Size 6-8 translates into Extra-Large in China!

I bought these cloisonne bracelets at the Friendship Store in Beijing.  Craftsmen at the store demonstrate the cloisonne enamel technique.  Wire is bent into shapes and soldered onto the copper piece.  Different colors of enamel are then applied and finally it is fired and polished.
