Aboriginal Art

Cave Painting, Uluru
Babette is famous for her pleats.  This summer, however, the graphic designs and colors she used for her dresses and sportswear were extraordinarily beautiful.  Mimi models a dress from the Babette Summer 2011 collection.  It reminded me of Australia and the Aboriginal art I have come to love.  The two wood carvings were purchased in Alice Springs.  I spent seven weeks in Australia, traveling from Perth to Sydney, but Central Australia, especially the Olgas and Uluru make up the heart and soul of this vast continent.
