ICELAND

I remember back in grade school when I found out that Iceland is more green and Greenland is more icy. My little mind was so confused and blown away that someone could officially name a country whose geographic features did not fit the name! Okay, so it was not exactly with those words (geography, features) but you get my jist. Of course, there is ice and snow in Iceland but generally speaking, it tends to be greener than Greenland.

So, Iceland, eh? This country is known for it's Blue Lagoon, whale watching, incredibly breath-taking northern lights and grass/moss covered homes. Iceland is a Nordic island in the continent of Europe surrounded by the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean and the Arctic Ocean. There are about 319,000 people (national language is Icelandic) living on the island. The capital is Reykjavik and the currency is the Icelandic króna. If you visit Iceland and speak to the locals, they will probably ask you where you are from. What do you say?! Halló ég er frá ___. You are probably trying to say it out loud now, right? Me too...
If you are a fellow Pinterest addict, you have probably stumbled across pins of the beautiful Blue Lagoon or Gullfoss that Iceland boasts. These are two of Iceland's main attractions, so when you go, or if you have already gone, those are two places to go/you have gone to. Another lagoon that Iceland is famous for is the Jökulsár Lagoon.

When in Reykjavik
1. Take a break from sight-seeing to go shopping at the Kolaportio Flea Market.
2. Cleanse yourself in the Laugardalslaug Geothermal Pool.
3. Spend a few hours inside at the Reykjavik Art Museum, National Museum, Reykjavik 871+2, Culture House or the Vikin Maritime Museum.
4. Buy a pidgin stuffed animal or just see a live one!
5. Hot dog-lovers, you are in luck! The fast food restaurant Baejarins Beztu is every hot dog-lovers heaven.
6. If you aren't a fan of hot dogs, try some other favorite food spots, such as: Vio Tjornina, Babalu, Indian Mango, Saegreifinn, Tapas Barinn, Hereford Steakhouse, Kaffi Solon or Vox.
7. Drink some brew and jam to live music at Celtic Cross or Cafe Amsterdam.
8. Got kids? Head to Family Fun Park & Zoo.
9. Feeling spooky? The capital offers an 'Original Ghost Walk of Reykjavik'.
10. Watch some whales!
11. Hang with the locals at Austurvollur- the main square in the city.
12. Book an afternoon of 'Viking Horse-Riding Tour' (My dad would love the Viking part of this!)

Elsewhere in Iceland:
1. Visit the Askja, which is a stratovolanco.
2. Eat at Perlan- a cool, futuristic looking restaurant.
3. Go to a concert at Harpa concert hall.
4. Attempt to drink some water from the Dynjandi or Aldeyjarfoss waterfalls.
5. Breathe the Icelandic air at Vatnajokull National Park.
6. Visit the Imagine Peace Tower, built by Yoko Ono, on the island of Videy.
7. If you visit the city of Akureyri, be sure to visit the incredible architecture of Akureyrarkirkja (Church of Akureyri).
8. Take some Instagram pictures of the Sun Voyager (a sculpture in Reykjavik).
9. Go skiing, just slide down the mountain or pull a Jon Snow in Game of Thrones at the mountain of Hlidarfjall.
10. If you love whales, go to the Husavik Whale Museum, in the town of Husavik.
11. Have your breath taken away at Arnarfjörður.
12. Visit the home of a 1955 Nobel Prize for Literature winner, Halldór Kiljan Laxnes', home.

Now, if you have ever dreamed about going to Antarctica but rejected the idea in fear of sinking with the icebergs (likelihood is slim to none, but some people fear it), well you are in luck. Tourists from all over the world come to Iceland to participate in a glacier adventure/trek.

The next post will be on: Czech Republic; the one and only and my motherland (well half of my motherland)!

Keep pushing through this Monday (I have an eternal list of things to do/finish for university) and travel on wadnerlusters!

Prophetic Message and Warning! A Church, West Coast, Hawaii, Lousiana, New York 2013

Tredachere wants to share this urgent message from the Lord which she received on May 3, 2013.

Even if you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, she asks to listen to the message.

There is much calamity coming to many areas of the United States.

Edgar Cayce already predicted 'natural' disasters as well as the Farsight Institute, U.S. Department of Defense Darpa, remote viewe Ed Dames, Nostradamus and St. Johan. And the list goes on.

Just another prediction which claims that many areas in America, especially the west coast of America will be hit by disasters?

Alert: 1200 Meter rise of the seafloor near Bali, Indonesie - May 1, 2013

Something is going on under the ocean near Bali in Indonesie. According to Suspicious0bserver, there is a gigantic 1200 meter drop of the sea depth, which means a 1200 meter rise of the sea floor.

What can be the reason, an underwater volcano, tectonic movements?

Geological events

Geological events that alter sea level will be more to do with changing the shape of the ocean bed. For example an earthquake which raises the ocean floor by 2 feet will raise the sea by the same amount. Obviously this would only occur if all the Worlds ocean floors were raised but the raising of one area of sea floor will raise the average sea level, if only by a tiny amount. Over long periods of time this could add up to a significant alteration is sea level. Similarly, a drop in level of the ocean floor would provide a greater volume in which was contained the same amount of sea water to the sea level would fall.

Similar effects would be seen for the growth of under-sea volcanoes, tectonic movements reducing the overall volume of the ocean bed, or landslides from the land into the sea, all of which would increase sea level by displacing the water.

Sea level would fall by tectonic movements which increased the available volume of ocean floor, the destruction of volcanoes by catastrophic explosion such as at Krakatoa or the sea breaking into new low-lying areas of land by erosion of coastal barriers (either natural or man-made).

We can expect a massive geological event?

UFO appears above Volcano Turrialba in Costa Rica - Apr 23, 2013

The volcano cam caught an unknown flying object above the Turrialba Volcano in Costa Rica on April 13, 2013.

Turrialba Volcano was named after the region of Costa Rica in which the volcano is situated in Turrialba County, Cartago of Costa Rica.

The stratovolcano is 3,340 m (10,958 ft) high and is about 45 minutes from the Atlantic slope town of Turrialba.

Turrialba is adjacent to Irazú and both are among Costa Rica's largest volcanoes. It had at least five large explosive eruptions in last 3500 years.

Edgar Cayce's Visions and Predictions about Earth Changes

Edgar Cayce "The Sleeping Prophet" ( March 18, 1877 – January 3, 1945) was an American psychic who claimed to have the ability to channel answers to questions on subjects such as healing or Atlantis while in a hypnotic trance. Cayce coined the term Earth Changes (later widely used in New Age writings), a reference to a series of cataclysm events which he prophesied would take place in future decades — notably including the Earth shifting on its axis, and most of California dropping into the Pacific Ocean following a catastrophic earthquake

Almost every day, several times a day, for more than forty years, Cayce would induce himself into an altered out-of-body state of consciousness and reveal profound information on various subjects such as health, dreams, meditation, religions, reincarnation, earth changes to name a few.

But it was the information that Cayce revealed about the future which he is probably most known for. He provided information about the history of humanity from the very beginning to a time in the future when humans will evolve into beings with supernatural powers. He described a new era of enlightenment and peace when divinity within humans would be manifested on the Earth.

Cayce foresaw world events that can only be described as apocalyptic, a period of purification involving natural disasters that will dramatically alter the surface of the Earth, wars, economic collapse, and socio-political unrest.

Edgar Cayce coined the term Earth Changes, a reference to a series of cataclysm events which he prophesied would take place - including the Earth shifting on its axis, and most of California dropping into the Pacific Ocean following a catastrophic earthquake.

The first sign of this change in the Earth's core would be the "breaking up of some conditions" in the South Pacific and "sinking or rising" in the Mediterranean or Etna area. Cayce forecast that, by the end of the century, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco would be destroyed. He said that "the greater portion of Japan must go into the sea" at this time, and that northern Europe would be "changed as in the twinkling of an eye.

In 1941, Cayce predicted that lands would appear in the Atlantic and the Pacific in the coming years, and that the coastline now of many a land will be the bed of the ocean. Even many of the battlefields of 1941 will be ocean, will be the sea, the bays, the lands over which the new order will carry on their trade as with one another.

He warned: Watch New York, Connecticut and the like. Many portions of the east coast will be disturbed, as well as many portions of the west coast, as well as the central portion of the United States. Los Angeles, San Francisco, most of all these will be among those that will be destroyed before New York, or New York City itself, will in the main disappear. This will be another generation though, here; while the southern portions of Carolina, Georgia, these will disappear. This will be much sooner. The waters of the Great Lakes will empty into the Gulf of Mexico. There will be the upheavals in the Arctic and in the Antarctic that will make for the eruption of volcanoes in the torrid areas, and there will be the shifting of the poles.

Strifes will arise through the period. Watch for them near the Davis Strait between Greenland and Canada in the attempts there for the keeping of the life line to land open. Watch for them in Libya and in Egypt, in Ankara and in Syria, through the straits about those areas above Australia, in the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf.

By this time, he indicated, a New Cycle would begin.
